No.12 Broad Street

No. 12 overlooks the square where the Obby Osses dance around the maypole on May Day. The views from the front bedroom are superb so book early as this cottage is very popular.

Walking through the front door you’ll find an open plan sitting room which leads into a dining area. The kitchen is small but well-equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washer-drier and full range of saucepans, crockery and cooking utensils including handheld electric blender. At the rear is a downstairs toilet with sink.

The kitchen leads out onto a small, secluded courtyard, somewhere private to sit and relax in the centre of town as well as a useful storage area with extendable washing line and pegs. A back gate gives access to Parnall's Court, a private lane joining Mill Road with Lanadwell Street. The courtyard offers access to No.10 Broad Street and No.2 Mill Road, making the cottages ideal for large parties or separate families.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms with twin beds, which can be made up as doubles. Both have fully-fitted furniture providing plenty of storage space. Between the bedrooms is a modern shower room with sink and lavatory.

Being costal the Camel Estuary has its own micro-climate with some gorgeous sunny days in summer and winter. However, if it does rain the cottage has a colour television, DVD player and books for entertainment, central heating for warmth and washer-drier for wet clothes – and excellent access to all Padstow’s pubs!

No. 12 Broad Street is cosy in winter and airy in summer, a perfect all-year venue for a family holiday.
